Monchique's stunning terraced garden sets the scene for this fairy-tale ... the lush greenery and towering trees framing the spectacular mountain peaks above and beyond... the thatched gazebo nestled near the pool is an enchanting environment for guests to meet and greet.
The Barn, with its charming rustic appeal has a comfortable homely atmosphere - just perfect for an intimate celebration.
The venue was beyond compare and then the cherry on the top was the delicious cuisine! Kathy Whittaker and her very talented chef daughter, Simone, excel in their task of providing the very best service for any occasion. Kathy's calm and reassuring confidence and friendly advice and suggestions helped to quell the stresses which surround the preparations for a wedding, Simone's culinary skills proved her to be both accomplished and dedicated in her profession. The diverse choice of dishes on the extensive menu allowed for the hostess to take all needs into account. The delectable fusion of subtle, delicious tastes and flavours delighted all palates.
We felt at ease and privileged to entertain our wedding guests here. The tranquil ambience and privacy of this venue is ideal for a special function, especially a wedding. Guests could relax and enjoy the ceremony and the party without worrying about the safety of their vehicles. Having the place entirely to ourselves meant that we could bring in our own personal touches throughout and as Kathy was so supportive and accommodating, we knew that everything would be safe to collect the next day.
